Graham Clarke - Senior Partner, BSc, MRICS, MARLA, MCIH Born in 1956, Graham was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Trent University and Hackney College. His early career was in social housing with the Peabody Trust in London and Axiom Housing in Peterborough. In 1988 he branched into the private rented housing sector joining Messers Bidwells, chartered surveyors, where he was instrumental in delivering professional services to operate the new Business Expansion Schemes (the forerunner of Buy-to-Lets). In 1996 he left Messers Bidwells to form Clarkes Residential as a sole trader. Since then, he has acquired three Cambridge letting agencies and is now supported by a team of a dozen dedicated staff, whom help him to deliver a professional residential letting and management service to clients, whose properties have at present a cumulative capital value in excess of £100M. Since 1992 he has lived in the village of Great Wilbraham about 5 miles east of Cambridge with his wife & four sons, and when time allows is happy to find relaxation on golf courses home & abroad.   Gary Topham - Property Manager, MARLA Born in 1954, Gary grew up in Cambridge and was educated at Netherhall School for boys. Upon leaving school in 1971 he attended Harlow Technical College and studied Business Management until, in 1973, he joined the Philips Group of Companies based in Cambridge. Gary’s first role was working within the telecommunication field in a planning role later progressing into International Sales in the Middle East, South America and Africa involving some travelling, where he stayed until early 2002. Mid 2002 saw a career change for Gary when he joined Crofton Property Management as a Property Manager, which proved to be an excellent springboard into the residential lettings market. Further career advances were made in June 2005 when he joined Ambassador Property Management as Property Manager. Gary enjoys his challenging role and is committed to providing a first class service to his Landlords and Tenants.   Flora Loizou - Property Manager, MARLA Born in London to Greek Cypriot parents, Flora’s family moved to Cambridge soon after where they ran a restaurant serving traditional Cypriot cuisine. After leaving college, Flora worked as a Travel Agent before joining the family business fulfilling her talent for catering. After marriage and 2 children, she went on to run her own very successful Guest House which gave her an insight into dealing with people on all levels as well as maintaining good standards in property maintenance and presentation. Since joining Ambassador in March 2006, she has gained a great deal of experience in property management and has a very good relationship with both landlords and tenants. A committed Christian, she believes in looking after properties for landlords as if they were her own, and looking after tenants whilst making sure that they are taking care of landlords properties.. Your property will be in good hands.   Alex Bloxham - Property Manager Born in 1979, Alex spent the early years of his life in Dubai, then moved to Cambridge to complete the rest of his education. He did a course on Business Studies at Cambridge Regional College and since then has worked for various Cambridge companies including Lloyds TSB. In 2004 he began his career in the Private Rented Sector, working for Spires International Lettings and Investments, where he was responsible for Block Management for one year, thereafter becoming a Lettings Manager, carrying out viewings and ensuring referencing and credit checks were complete for all prospective tenants. In 2006 he moved on to Russells Lettings and took up the position of Letting Office Manager, responsible for overseeing the Property Managers and bringing in new instructions to the company. In July 2007 he joined Ambassador as a Property Manager, taking responsibility for his own portfolio of clients and their properties. He will commit himself to ensure the successful day to day running of his properties, and his aim is to build good relations with both Landlords and Tenants alike.   Lily Cheng, BA - Trainee Property Manager Born in 1982, Lily was born and raised in Cambridge where she attended Netherhall School and Netherhall 6th Form Centre. In September 2002 she continued her studies at Anglia Ruskin University where she completed her Business Management and Marketing degree. Upon leaving she began to look after her parents portfolio of houses, which gave her insight into property management and decided that this was an area she wanted to explore. In March 2008 she joined Ambassador as a Trainee Property Manager, and strives to deliver excellent service to both her landlords and tenants.
