Post:   Property Negotiator
Accountable to: Graham Clarke, The Senior Partner
Responsible for: The efficient day to day show rounds of Prospective Tenants, together with administrative duties

Working hours:

  • Monday to Sunday, working flexitime with other PNs, so as to ensure continuous                               viewing coverage
  • No obligation to do viewings on Bank Holidays, but if opt to, then will be paid one and a half times the current hourly rate

Commissions:

  • For every successful viewing, a one off commission (reviewed in April each year) will be paid to the PN, once the property has been let and Ambassador has received the fee

Vehicle:

PNs must provide their own vehicle with the correct insurance for business purposes, and they must at all times hold a full and valid driving licence

Show rounds:

Liaise with Property Managers & visit property to ensure can properly answer as many as possible of Prospective Tenants’ questions

  • Liaise with Communications Managers in co-ordinating the show rounds of PTs
  • Always check-out and check-in keys using named fobs on key wall in office
  • Show PTs around properties, ensuring that the PT is given useful extra information about the property and any appropriate local information
  • Provide application form(s) and a fee schedule to PTs whom express an interest in taking a property
  • Liaise with CMs when a PT has expressed an interest in a particular property
  • If a PT not interested in taking a property, obtain full reasons, and report back to CMs for feedback to the Property Manager & Landlord
  • Take internal/external photos of properties as requested
  • Make floor plans of properties, as requested

Administration:

  • Call PTs prior to leaving the office to confirm their attendance at viewings
  • Notify CMs when short of stationery (such as application forms and fee schedules)

 

General:

  • Keep mobile telephone on at all times during working hours
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training as appropriate.
  • Take on any additional responsibilities that may be considered as being reasonable for someone in such a post, having due regard for the post’s overall workload
